I just laid the box onto the scrapbook paper and marked the different sizes for sides, front and back. (Didn't cover the bottom). Then used my rotary cutter to cut them out. I applied adhesive with a tape runner to the edges and a little in the centers, carefully placed the pieces and pressed in place.
Then I rubbed ink directly from the distress ink pad onto all the edges. It was beginning to shape up but needed more, so I used the same ink and a swirl stamp and added swirls to all the surfaces.

Floppy Disc Case Tutorial
I got a bag full of these clear plastic floppy disc cases at a yard sale a few weeks ago. I still live in the dark ages of floppy discs, since I use a Sony Mavica camera. It doesn't use SD cards or any of the newer technology. It uses floppies and I love it! Consequently, I have them everywhere and when I saw these, I saw an organizing opportunity! But they're kind of uninspiring in their clear state, so I decided I could cover them with scrapbook paper and pretty them up a little. So here are the supplies all gathered up, except for the tape runner that I used to adhere the paper to the plastic. Time will tell if it holds up, but it seemed to be the best solution.
Plastic case, coordinating papers, scissors, distress ink pad, adhesive, swirl stamp and stamp block---all set!
