Easter Chorus Line

These are my latest creations. I found the cute little egg shapes with feet at Hobby Lobby. They were already painted blue & lavendar---no chicks showing yet. I had seen a cute design of a chick popping out of it's shell in the latest Crafts 'n Things magazine. It was painted on a round candle, but I thought these eggs were the perfect surface, so I grabbed the best of the few that were left. They were in the Easter 1/2 price aisle and pretty picked over. I figured three were enough anyway. I really don't care too much for painting the same design over and over. So here's my Easter chorus line. They look like they should be kicking their feet in the air, don't they?! LOL!Here are a couple of closer shots: And here's a butt shot! Woohoo!!! These are listed in my Etsy shop. If you go to peek, be sure to look at the hawk I painted, too. I think he turned out pretty good. I can't find the photos of him right now to post on here--sorry! And he lacks the Easter "vibe", too. He looks like he might have these chicks for dinner!

These next pictures aren't something I created. Tania and I found them at an antique show we went to a few weeks ago. She decided not to get them, so I jumped in and grabbed them. And was even able to dicker with the lady and get them for a little less than they were priced----which really wasn't too high to begin with. But I figured what the heck---the worst she'll do is say "no"! And she didn't so I was a happy camper! I just think they're the cutest little snack plates EVER! The flowers are decals and the paint on each one is all crackled. Some people would put them back on the self because of that but I think it adds the perfect touch of shabby-chic-ness! You'll probably be able to find them in our Etsy shop soon.
