My Newest Creation--Funky Chicken Mirror

I wanted to share my latest creation. I painted these cute chickens and daisies on an Ikea mirror. I find these at yard sales, thrift shops, etc., usually for $1.00 or $2.00. They're a great painting surface and sooo many designs work on them. I have another one in my Etsy shop now if you want to take a look. This is an adaptation of a Shara Reiner design. She's one of my favorite decorative artists.

I've been trying to get some spring things painted. I'm not sure if this really looks "springy" with the black background, but it really makes the white chickies pop!

I did a spring design a few days ago that's really bright and cheery. It's also in my Etsy shop.

For my next project I have a Terrye French design transferred to a photo frame. So I guess I'd better go to my studio and get paint on my fingers!
