Fun at Bill's Berry Farm

Yesterday Tania and I went to an outdoor antique show at Bill's Berry Farm. They grow blueberries and several varieties of tree fruit. Right now, blueberries and cherries are in season, so they have the antiques in conjunction with the blueberry & cherry festival.

Their grounds are lovely and they have all kinds of fun things going on, including pony rides in a train made out of barrels, a petting zoo, playgrounds & a treehouse! These cute guys greeted us at the entrance!
So there's plenty to keep kids entertained and of course, the antiques keep mom's entertained as well! Since it was held on the Fourth of July weekend, there were lots of red, white & blue patriotic looking displays.
This one even had patriotic candies! Yum!
This booth had lots of fun goodies and original ideas for using collectibles.

Here you can see the cute little train made from metal barrels. It's the cutest thing and the kids had smiles a mile wide. They were using a 4 wheeler to pull it around and through the fields.
More booths full of goodies.
Here's Tania digging thru a box of goodies. We called this booth the $5.00 booth. The owner didn't have anything marked and whenever we asked her what the price of something was, she said $5.00! We talked her down a dollar or two on a couple of items, tho.

There were several pretty excited dogs on the grounds.
You had to be careful not to stumble over them!
These enterprising little girls had quite the business going on! We bought some licorice sparklers from them. (Red licorice with the end coated in frosting & red, white & blue sprinkles). They were too cute in their little booth!
I actually bought a couple of items this time! A cute apron and an old baby scrapbook--unused. I don't have pictures yet, but Tania has posted pictures of her finds on her blog, if you'd like to take a look. It was a fun outing and we've decided to add it to our list of annual "must-attend"events!
I hope everyone is having a fun and fantastic Fourth of July weekend!
Nancy
