Valentine Tags

I know I mentioned creating more of the bird ornaments last time, but I seem to have gotten off track! I had a scrapbook sheet of vintage children, so I trimmed them out and created a few Valentine tags. These illustrations are supposed to represent children's clothing for sale in a catalog. The catalog number and price are included. I just thought they were pretty cute and I was inspired by some paper doll tags I saw in a magazine.  I actually made a couple of those, too!

So, this is some of the supplies I gathered for this project. I have a box of manila tags that I got at an office supply store, so that's the base for these. I've added scrapbook paper, word embellishments, die cuts, punches and various misc. embellishments.
I've used papers that coordinate with the colors in the clothing and made sets of two.  I've used a border punch on one of these and sprinkled metallic hearts and a cupid on the other.
The colors are different on these two, but they're kind of a set. The background paper I used on most of these is a sheet music design, so I've used a punch and made music notes to embellish with. One has a dimensional butterfly and a sparkly spiral . The flower on the yellow one is sparkly, which doesn't show in the photos.
Some of the girl figures are mounted with pop dots, to add dimension, and some are glued flat, with the embellishments attached with pop dots.
I've used phrases on each one which would make them fun to attach to a Valentine gift for a young girl.
They'd be sweet to use on scrapbook page, or just a fun addition to a Valentine card. They're a little addictive to make! Once I get started on this kind of project, I can keep going indefinitely! But I've moved on to something different now. I may come back to these later. You'll be able to see them and some more photos in my ToletallyPainted Etsy shop if you're interested.
Thanks for looking!
